MAHLE-Hans Jehle Technical
Award Recipients

The MAHLE-Hans Jehle Technical Award was established by MAHLE to honor the retirement of Hans Jehle as the third president of MAHLE. Mr. Jehle served as president from April 24, 1989 – January 31, 2005.

The MAHLE-Hans Jehle Award originally honored a Hamblen County certified educator that promoted technological improvement through the implementation of math and/or science curriculum, instructional technology skills or the innovative use of equipment/resources. As the system needs changed the award monies were transitioned to provide financial assistance to National Board of Professional Teacher Standards Certification applicants.
